Agincare Live-in Care Services currently has vacancies for Live-in Care workers. We invest time and money into our recruitment process to ensure that every person that joins our company is fully trained and competent in their abilities prior to setting out. All our Care Workers are given full support and backing from their Managers, Team Leaders, Trainers and Head Office at all times. All Agincare Live-in Care workers are taken on under the same recruitment process to ensure fair and open competition for all posts. We provide all training, including shadowing visits and Nation Vocational Qualification training (NVQs). Every person we employ has to complete a 3 day training program.

Whether you are an experienced care provider, a qualified nurse or social worker or just starting out in your care career we have employment opportunities to suit you and we welcome applications from all sections of the community; whether male, female, younger people or older people, our staff need to be as diverse as the people who need our services. If you are interested or have any queries please call Matt Edge, HR & Recruitment Consultant on 01258 489480 or fill in the application form on-line.

A few key points:

The most important qualities you must possess are an interest and enthusiasm for providing care. You will be living in someone’s own home assisting them with their personal care needs and other duties as agreed so you have to have a high level of motivation and commitment.

You can be based anywhere in the country as Agincare has clients across England and Wales but you do need to be able and willing to travel to placements as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to place you with clients near to where you live.

Agincare prides itself on the diversity of its workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community, but one thing to bear in mind, every care worker must have good spoken and written English, and must be legally entitled to work in the UK. Thorough checks will be made to ensure this is the case. If any discrepancies in documentation are identified these will be reported to the Home Office.

At the moment, the specific skills and abilities which are under-represented in our Care Worker staff are: UK driving licence holders and members of our rapid response team – we particularly welcome applicants with the ability to drive and people able to undertake short term placements at short notice.

Work patterns are variable amongst our workforce and we seek to accommodate your preferences. Care Workers usually work on a periodic basis rotating fortnightly, monthly or six monthly but some work full time just taking time off for holidays.

The standard weekly rate of pay for Live-in Carers for each full week worked is £436.00 per week. For specialist or higher dependency placements, enhanced weekly rates will apply.
