Quality assurance is overseen by the Agincare Group Quality Committee which includes representatives from Agincare’s live-in care and support services. The Committee is chaired by Raina Summerson who is the Group CEO and director responsible for Health and Safety. The Operations Director, Linda Jacomb, is the representative for live-in care and support services. The Committee meets quarterly. In our 2011 survey 100% of our clients said they felt safe and comfortable with their support worker.
Your involvement in Agincare’s Care and Support service is what helps to ensure we have a service which is truly relevant to you. All of our clients have their own personalised care and support plan they have control over ensuring the care and support is unique to them. In addition we involve people in developing and reviewing our policies and procedures as well as in considering possible new services. We do this by arranging focus group meetings, by seeking feedback in our regular newsletter and by our weekly telephone call to you. We also use our website, Facebook page and Twitter. We try to use a lot of different ways for your involvement as some people have some specific conditions that might otherwise limit their ability to be involved.
Agincare live-in care services is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, is a member of the UK Home Care Association (UKHCA) and is BS EN 1589001: 2008 registered. The care sector is highly regulated and the Company conforms to all statutory requirements.
