Cerebral Palsy (CP) - Providing live-in care to people with various types of cerebral palsy

You are here

At Agincare we have over 30 years experience providing live-in care to people with various types of cerebral palsy. We understand that as many with the condition get older they wish to have independence away from family members who often act as carers in their childhood. We create bespoke holistic care plans unique to each individual to ensure a truly personal type of care and our teams of care workers are highly trained to provide care to people of all ages and with a range of dependencies so we can find the perfect match for you.

Cerebral Palsy CP Live-in care

Our top quality care is not limited to inside the four walls of your house, we can provide care:

  • At home - in your local community with friends and familyŠ.
  • At college or university - working with you and the local disability transition team to secure funding and adaptive solutions.
  • At work - helping you to secure funding and adaptive solutions.

Your care worker is there not only to provide medical help in day to day life but to also ensure a continuation of lifestyle inside and outside of the home. Agincare wants those in their care to live the best life possible; our care workers are there to aid in that.

Live-in Care Case Studies

We could not believe that there was a service that could provide support so quickly. We were so surprised when we were told about it. We usually have to fight to get support, but this was so easy. She (the support worker) has been fantastic and made such a difficult time easier. She is such a hard worker and my Mother (Mrs Hammond) told me that she is wonderful. If she says that, it is high praise indeed.

Mrs H lives at home. She is a poorly lady with long-term health needs and mild confusion and requires assistance in all aspects of daily living. Her primary carer was her husband. Mrs H was also supported by the Portsmouth reablement team attached to the hospital to enable her as far as possible.
