Live in Care Summer 2016 Newsletter

I hope that this newsletter finds you well and that you are able to enjoy the warmer weather and lighter evenings.

I would like to take this opportunity to update you on a number of new developments in our service.

We are very proud of our “Good” CQC rating. We believe in continuous improvement and really value your views and opinions on quality of our service and staff. To this end, please look out for our annual Satisfaction Survey which is going to be sent out to you in June. We would be grateful if you could complete and return the survey to us. This is your opportunity to tell us about your experience of our service, positive or negative your comments really matter.

I wanted to share with you some of the wonderful compliments we receive each week. They are testimony to the dedication, compassion and great service delivered by our staff. Please see a small selection of the compliments received in May in our Compliments Corner.

I am confident that the restructure of our organisation last year and the introduction of our team of Regional Coordinators have significantly improved our customer service and staff support. Any further suggestions you have to improve this important community based role would be very welcome.

As well as our valued private clients, we also work in partnership with over 20 local authorities. We have just started to work in partnership with the Portsmouth City Council to deliver a new and exciting Discharge Home to Assess Service. This is a ground breaking and exciting new project designed to provide an essential reablement service to patients at the Queen Anne’s Hospital once they return home.
