**Placements available across the UK**

Agincare Live-in Care Services has been successfully recruiting on the Spanish mainland for some time now, with fantastic results.  Our Spanish based Recruitment Partner, Katie Gate is not only an extremely experienced live-in carer but has a wealth of recruitment and business knowledge as well, so is ideally placed to support all our excellent candidates through the initial enquiry, recruitment and training process, ready to be care-matched and placed with one of our many clients across the UK.

How to Apply?

Your initial enquiry right up to completing our comprehensive training and induction will all be managed by Katie in Spain.  If you are on Facebook and would like to enquire direct to Katie then you can click here or alternatively you can email Katie at or contact her on 0034 684 265 947

Once you have completed an initial application form Katie will arrange an interview and if successful then arrange your attendance at our training and induction which is held in Torrevieja.  Your DBS (UK Police Check) will then be applied for as well as two references from previous employers.  Once all your paperwork and documentation is in order, Katie will pass you across to one of our UK based Care Coordinators who will already have been care-matching you with one of our many clients so as to avoid any delay in starting you in off in your new career!

Katie Gate

Katie has a wealth of experience as a Live-In Carer as well as many years’ experience working in Recruitment and Business Administration.  Having lived in Spain with her family for a number of years, Katie has been regularly returning to the UK to work as a Live-in Carer, working with a variety of clients with varying care needs.  This, coupled with her qualifications to train others in Health and Social Care,  means Katie is better placed than most to explain the Live-in Care role comprehensively and ensure there is minimal delay in processing your documentation to enable you to start with us as soon as is reasonably practical.   Katie is passionate about both caring and carers and will remain in contact with you throughout your career with Agincare!

Training and Induction in Spain

We conduct our free comprehensive training and induction at our dedicated training facility in Torrevieja approximately every six weeks.  This training runs for four days with lunch, refreshments and training materials all provided.  If you require accommodation then this can also be arranged (local apartments) at a very reasonable cost.   During training you will cover all the aspects of the role of a live-in carer including care delivery records, medication administration recording and moving and handling using various methods.

The first day of training and induction is designed to allow Katie to assist you to complete the documentation required in order to commence your new career, including DBS and carer profile; your CV of care so to speak!  The remaining days are all ‘care specific’ training covering various subjects from person centred care, administering medication to moving and handling.

What Happens After Training In Spain?

Whilst you are on training and induction, our UK based Care Coordinators will begin the process of carefully and diligently care-matching you with one of our many clients across the UK. Then, as soon as your DBS and references are finalised, one of the team will make contact with you to discuss your client and talk you through the client’s care plan, confirm travel arrangements and make sure you are ready to start your new career! Agincare has been at the forefront of providing independent care services across the UK for 3 decades and continues to be pioneering in its approach to care provision.  In an ever challenging financial climate, our flexibility, creativity and excellent reputation ensures Agincare continues to grow and as such we continue to offer great people exceptional opportunities.
