Spinal Injuries

You are here

The term ‘spinal injury’ covers a whole range of different spine-related conditions and we at Agincare are fully prepared to care for individuals with any level of spinal injury. During the 30+ years that Agincare has provided care, we have built teams of care workers who are equipped to handle all levels of dependency with people of all ages. Our flexible teams across the country mean that we can get care quickly to those in need.

At Agincare we understand that a spinal injury is a life-changing event but we firmly believe that you should be free to live your life your way; our care workers are there to facilitate that. Alongside providing medical assistance in your everyday life inside of your home, our live-in care services go outside of the house too and can be utilised in other areas of your life. Our teams are dedicated to helping you continue the lifestyle that ensures you live your life to the fullest.

Spinal injuries live-in care services

We do not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ style of care and that is reflected throughout our entire process. We offer bespoke care plans tailored to the needs and wants of each individual entrusted to our care, and can work seamlessly alongside a pre-existing medical team to ensure that the care is suited specifically to the individual.

As spinal injuries can be so varied we have learnt in our 30+ years to adapt along with the journey of recovery that the person in our care takes. This means that we review our care plans annually as a minimum to ensure it is still catering to the needs and wants of those in our care.

Our team has experience providing live-in care for people who are affected by a range of injuries including quadriplegia, paraplegia and tetraplegia. To find out more about our live-in care services or to book your free no obligation assessment call our team for free on 0800 0121 247 today.

Live-in Care Case Studies

We could not believe that there was a service that could provide support so quickly. We were so surprised when we were told about it. We usually have to fight to get support, but this was so easy. She (the support worker) has been fantastic and made such a difficult time easier. She is such a hard worker and my Mother (Mrs Hammond) told me that she is wonderful. If she says that, it is high praise indeed.

Mrs H lives at home. She is a poorly lady with long-term health needs and mild confusion and requires assistance in all aspects of daily living. Her primary carer was her husband. Mrs H was also supported by the Portsmouth reablement team attached to the hospital to enable her as far as possible.
